About us

Five countries. One mission.

An MIT Professional Education Impact Project that became a company in the making.

Our mission

Together, we make speech therapy accessible, affordable and available to everyone, everywhere.

therapy4speech.ai started as the Impact Project of five executives in the MIT Professional Education Chief Technology Officer Program. We chose the problem before the product: speech and language disorders are common and treatable, and the people who treat them are scarce. The gap is the days between sessions.

Three of the five of us carry the problem personally. That keeps us honest about what matters: patient first, clinically led, technology only where it improves access and outcomes.

What we believe

Patient first, clinically led

Technology is only valuable when it improves access and outcomes. Therapists keep clinical authority – always.

Personalisation doesn't scale by hand

Machine learning supports the decisions, generative AI scales therapist-directed content. Neither replaces the therapist.

Trust and evidence over capability

Human oversight, guardrails and causal validation are what make a clinical AI product adoptable.

“Speech is communication. Communication is life.”

Roadmap

1 · Co-design

Exercise taxonomy and scoring rules with speech-language therapists.

2 · Platform

Parsing engine, clinical knowledge base, therapist dashboard, patient app.

3 · Validation

Prototype validated with therapists; scores vs blinded clinical ratings.

4 · Pilots 2027

Two pilot clinics, DACH; safety, bias and privacy checks.

5 · Scale

Nordics, UK, further conditions and languages – as clinical value is demonstrated.

If someone you love needed speech therapy – which therapist would you choose?

Pilot programme 2027 – we are looking for partner clinics: two pilot sites, a clinical advisory board and therapists who want to shape the product. Pricing on request.
